U.S. Chamber of Commerce opposes tobacco control

The New York Times reported on the nonprofit, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, lobbying globally to oppose tobacco control policies, and to support lawsuits to limit tobacco control laws.
In some countries, the US ambassador’s office serves as the affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, resulting in foreign US policy supporting tobacco industry opposition of foreign nations’ tobacco control laws.
