Tony Gwynn contributed to tobacco awareness film weeks before his death (ABC 10 News)

Former MLB athlete, Tony Gwynn, died from cancer related to tobacco use and one of his last acts was issuing a simple message about the habit he blamed for his illness. Tony Gwynn received a request from the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society to do a taped interview on the dangers of spit tobacco to be shown to players.
