Study Done On Exposure To Secondhand Smoke In Smokefree Buildings

The Boston Health Commission conducted a study to test for secondhand smoke and nicotine presence in Boston Housing Authority were transition to being smokefree. The study results concluded that exposure to secondhand smoke in buildings transitioning to be smokefree was 50% less than compared to buildings that had not transitioned.
The study was published in the journal Nicotine and Tobacco Research on August 25, 2014.
