Singapore bans the importation, distribution and sale of Shisha (Hookah)

On November 28, 2014, Singapore’s regulation takes effect that bans the importation, distribution and sale of shisha (hookah). Existing importers and sellers can continue to do so until July 31, 2016. The new regulation is found in the Prohibited Tobacco Products Regulations made under Section 15 of the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act.
