Senate Committee Pushed Forward on Bills on Smokefree Parks and E-Cigarette Tax (3 Earned Media, 3 Non-earned Media)

On May 19, The New Jersey Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee pushed forward two important bills regarding the sale and use of tobacco products and electronic smoking devices. The Committee moved forward a bill which would make parks and beaches throughout the state smokefree. They also approved a bill to tax electronic smoking devices like tobacco products and increase the tobacco tax on other products.
