Please Take Action: Come learn about why it is important to create a 100% tobacco-free school policy. Teens are now using new types of non-smoked forms of tobacco and nicotine products, such as chewing tobacco, orbs, sticks, strips and electronic cigarettes. Receive helpful educational materials and a full lunch; registration is free. The event is sponsored by the New Jersey Tobacco Advisory Council (NJTAC), a new coalition formed by the NJ Department of Health & Senior Services to support New Jersey’s secondary schools in the development and implementation of a Comprehensive Tobacco-Free School Policy (CTFSP). GASP is a coalition member of NJTAC. Two events are scheduled: Mt. Laurel on December 7 and Basking Ridge on December 10.
