Paterson, N.J Could Increase Tobacco Purchase Age to 21 (Halfwheel, Patrick Lagreid)

On October 25, 2015, a Halfwheel article reported that the Paterson, N.J City Council is scheduled to take up a measure at its meeting on Tuesday that could increase the minimum age to purchase tobacco products and e-cigarettes from the state minimum of 19-years-old to the increasingly popular 21-years-old.
According to the Paterson Times, The Council introduced the measure on October 9th and it is said to have the support of the Mayor.
The next council meets on Tuesday, Oct 27.
