Ohio bill is a ‘Trojan Horse’ to keep taxes low on e-cigarettes and keep e-cig use inside (Columbus Dispatch, Jim Siegel)

On July 22, 2013, the Columbus Dispatch reported that the Ohio House Bill 144 is a tobacco-industry bill that is ensuring that all electronic cigarette products as well other alternative nicotine products remain being taxed at lower rates than the traditional cigarettes. It is also being used to skirt the indoor smoking ban.
