Posted on
On March 12, 2015, the NJ Commissioner of the Department of Health issued a statement on the health concerns with young children being poisoned from ingesting liquid that contains nicotine. The liquids are used to refill electronic smoking devices, and the liquids are sold separately. NJ does not require such liquids be in tamper-proof containers to prevent young children and adults from consuming the product or having it spilled onto their skin which would be absorbed dermal that can lead to poisoning as well.
