More than 1,100 New Jersey residents who participated in Quitline – the free state-sponsored smoking cessation program – received free NRT (patches, lozenges) to help them quit tobacco. Both medicaid and insured patients participated in the giveaway program offered by the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services.
