Malaysian State of Terengganu bans sale of electronic smoking devices and liquids (The Times)

As reported in the news, the Terengganu government (of Malaysia) announced a six-month grace period from today (Jan 3) for vape traders to clear off their existing stock, days after the announcement of the ban against sales of electronic cigarette devices and their liquids.
According to the article, First minister Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said the state would also help an estimated 40 industry traders make the switch into another business field. The vape traders unanimously accepted the state government’s decision to ban vape sales starting January 1 for religious reasons.
Terengganu is the latest Malaysian state to have publicly declared a ban on the vape trade starting this month. According to the article, other states are Johor, Kelantan, Penang and Kedah.
