Macomb, Michigan bans new hookah lounges and minors from possessing hookah paraphernalia

On December 10, 2014, the Macomb Township Board of Trustees in Michigan adopted a resolution for a six-month (through June 9, 2015) moratorium on new hookah lounges in town, and adopted an amendment to the township codes to prohibit minors from entering hookah lounges and being in possession of hookah paraphernalia. A Township Trustee observed minors attempting to enter hookah lounges and was concerned. Read more in the Voice News story.
