Little Ferry students serve on Council for a day and introduce a discussion to ban smoking in public parks

Eighth-graders in Little Ferry participated as Mayor and Council members in the town’s “Mayor for a Day” council meeting, held annually since 1982. Students presided over the budget vote, adopted some resolutions and introduced a discussion to ban smoking in public parks.
