Hillsdale NJ adds in e-cigarettes to their tobacco 19 ordinance (The Record, Andrew Wyrich)

On August 20, 2015, The Record reported that Hillsdale’s Mayor and Council voted to revise their local ordinance that requires age 19 to be sold tobacco, since its local ordinance requiring age 18 is out of date and inconsistent with state law requiring 19.
The Mayor and Council also voted to add in electronic smoking devices to their ordinance which will require a minimum age of 19 to be sold these products as well, after being provided with educational resources on the topics by GASP’s Executive Director Karen Blumenfeld, Esq. who noted that state law also includes such products in its tobacco age of sale law.
