On March 10, 2015, the Garfield Mayor and Council discussed a policy to increase the age of being sold tobacco to 21. Karen Blumenfeld, Esq., Executive Director Global Advisors on Smokefree Policy, provided educational resources on the topic. Joining Ms. Blumenfeld was the Garfield Prevention Coalition which included two high school students from their community group EPIC.
