Beijing Smoking Ban shows compliance in 1st month One (Editor Yan, Xinhau News Agency CNN Reporter: Katie Hunt)

On June 1, 2015, Beijing issued the strictest smoking ban in China that covers all indoor public places, workplaces and public transportation.
According to Xinhau News Agency, the Beijing Association on Tobacco Control “described the first month of the ban as orderly and its control efforts satisfactory”. The government organized 15,000 people to help with enforcement in the first month.
