NJ Senate Health Committee votes for ban on flavored ecigs (John Ensslin, The Record)

The NJ Senate Health Committee voted through a bill to ban the sale of flavored e-cigarettes, due to their attraction to young people. Senator Joseph Vitale chairs the Committee and sponsored the bill.
GASP’s Executive Director Karen Blumenfeld, Esq. shared that nicotine and other chemicals in e-cigarettes can pose a health risk, and that long-term nicotine use is not recommended by FDA approved smoking cessation devices that contain nicotine.
