Consumer Reports: Ban Smoking in Homes and Cars

In conjunction with April Healthy Homes Month and May Asthma Awareness Month, Consumer Reports published an article on how to make a home healthy by reducing air pollutants. Included in the recommendation is to ban smoking in the home and cars, since secondhand smoke is a major indoor pollutant.
Consumer Reports highlighted that indoor air pollutants are “especially worrisome for people with allergies or asthma, … and irritate the eyes, nose and throat or cause headaches.
