Buffalo NY bans e-cigs in same spots as tobacco products

The Buffalo Common Council approved new regulations Tuesday February 3, 2015 to ban electronic cigarettes in all the same places that traditional tobacco products are prohibited. Mayor Byron Brown immediately signed the new rules, which were brought by Council President Darius Pridgen.
New York’s Governor Cuomo is considering a similar ban as part of his budget proposal citing that there is “little quality control” on the production of the devices or the nicotine liquids they use and “significant health and safety concerns” about the products.
