Passaic City passes smoking ban at municipal building entrances and at outdoor parks and recreational areas

Passaic City Council passed an ordinance to ban smoking at parks and recreation areas, joining many neighboring towns in Passaic County which prohibit smoking on public property. The passed ordinance also includes a no-smoking buffer zone of 35 feet around municipal building entrances.
