Twelve Congressman Ask E-Cigarette Makers to Explain Marketing Tactics Targeting Kids (CDC)

A recent CDC study confirmed a dramatic increase in the use of e-cigarettes by teens. Currently, e-cigarettes are not subject to federal laws and regulations that apply to traditional cigarettes. Read the September 26, 2013 press releaseon Representative Waxman’s website which shows the letter sent to nine e-cigarette makers asking for additional information regarding the sale, distribution, labeling, and marketing of their products to children and teens.
