NYC high schooler wins prestigious National Institute of Health’s (NIH) award for studying thirdhand smoke residue on surfaces from electronic smoking devices. The research showed significant increases in the amount of nicotine on all five measured surfaces including a glass window, vinyl walls, tiled floor, metal, and wood surfaces.
